Ron is a minor character in season five of Only Murders in the Building. He is half of the couple that found Oliver and is portrayed by Dylan Baker.
History[]
Ron and his wife, Linda, were getting ready to take their horse to the vet when they got a silver alert, describing a missing senior citizen. Oliver Putnam approached them after running out the woods, matching the description of the missing person exactly. He told them he was in danger. Linda asked if they could call someone for him and he told them his wife was probably halfway to New Zealand to film her show. They believed he was confused and asked if they could call police. Oliver said no, the police were in on it, increasing Linda and Ron's suspicion. As he continued saying increasingly unbelievable, but actually true, things, they tried to coax him to get into their truck so they could take him somewhere. He talked about Charles and Mabel and realized that he'd left them alone in danger. He asked Ron and Linda to take him back, but they said they couldn't. Oliver then said he'd take their horse, but the horse scared him, so he took their tractor instead and drove it away.
