She is portrayed by Christine Ko.
History[]
Bunny's Retirement[]
On what was Bunny's last day as board president, Nina tried to show Bunny she was ready to take over. At that evening's board meeting, Bunny tried to conduct business as usual, but Nina had planned a retirement party for Bunny instead. At the party, Bunny decided she wanted to take back her retirement and remain president. She felt she still had more to teach Nina. Nina told Bunny she was a relic and the Arconia needed to be updated, while Bunny wanted it preserved. She promised she wouldn't let Nina get away with taking over under false pretenses.[2]
Bunny's Memorial[]
Nina attended the memorial for Bunny after her death. At the memorial, she assured the attendees that, as the new board president, she wouldn't let Bunny's death adversely affect anyone on the building.[3]
Giving Birth[]
As her due date approached, Nina spent a lot of time thinking about Bunny, who had been very excited for her baby. She shared with her partner, Jared, that she wasn't sure they were doing the right thing, making changes to the Arconia. Jared reminded her that Bunny had to go.
Nina was in her apartment when Oliver, Mabel, and Charles arrived with a gift. They tried to goad her into confessing, believing she had murdered Bunny, but instead, she went into labor and her water broke. Charles helped keep her calm and reassure her while they waited for paramedics to arrive. She told them how excited Bunny had been for the baby and begged them to find her killer. When paramedics arrived, she was loaded onto a gurney and presumably taken to the hospital.[4]
Blackout[]
During the blackout, Nina called downstairs to ask if a package arrived for her. When Lester said it had, she forced him to bring it to her, despite the blackout, by threatening his job. When he arrived, he was out of breath and asked if he could sit for a minute. Nina reluctantly allowed him to do so. While Lester put together Nina's baby swing, she reviewed the construction plans for the Arconia. She also revealed that she knew all about his family, as Bunny used to quiz her on the building's occupants. When Howard Morris and Jonathan Bridgecroft started a duet, Lester observed that it soothed Nina's baby so she stopped crying.
Once the power came back on, Lester saw Nina's plan for the Arconia. Nina said that in the light of day, they might have to reconsider some things and asked him how Director of Resident Support sounded. He nodded at her, then left.[5]
