Nicky Caccimelio is a recurring character in Season 5 of Only Murders in the Building.
He is portrayed by Bobby Cannavale.
History[]
Nicky ran a chain of dry cleaners owned by his family. One of the dry cleaners was located in the Arconia and he developed a partnership with George, the doorman, giving George cash in order to let people into the Arconia on Saturday nights for business purposes. When George decided to retire, Lester Coluca took over this role from him.[1]
Nicky disappeared and his wife, Sofia, asked Charles-Haden Savage, Mabel Mora, and Oliver Putnam to find him. They declined,[2] but later went to Sofia when they found a severed finger and discovered that Nicky had been at the Arconia talking to Lester the day Lester died. After visiting Sofia, Oliver discovered Nicky's body at the family's dry cleaner.[3] After accidentally sneezing on the body, Oliver brought it back to Charles's place, where they decided to do an autopsy to collect some clues. They found a burn behind his ear and believed he'd been frozen and then thawed to obscure the day he'd actually died. They also found a page from Lester's ledger in his mouth. They spent all night collecting clues and then had to rush to return his body to the dry cleaners. Charles got it there, but was interrupted by two cops coming inside. They looked at the body and said they'd write it up just as they were told to, to stage it as a mob hit.[4]
