L.E.S.T.R. is a minor character introduced in Season 5 of Only Murders in the Building. The robot is named after Lester Coluca, the Arconia's previous doorman, and at the same time their name stands for "Logic-Engineered Secure Tenant Robot". They're looked after by Howard Morris.
They are voiced by Paul Rudd.
History[]
LESTR was brought in to supplement Randall's work, by delivering packages and messages.
During a tense meeting in which tenants and the Arconia staff clashed over what they wanted, LESTR disappeared and was later pushed out a building window down into the courtyard.[1]
When Randall told everyone that he had only taken the elevator crank the night Lester died to prevent it from coming out that Lester had killed Nicky Caccimelio, LESTR was able to playback video from that night to prove he was telling the truth.[2]
Three months after Lester's murder was solved, LESTR remained working at the Arconia, working alongside Randall.[3]
