Jimmy Russo is a minor character in Season 2 of Only Murders in the Building. He is an ex-co worker of Mabel Mora.
He is portrayed by Johnny Hopkins.
History[]
Jimmy worked with Mabel at a Long John Silver's restaurant. He made a pass at her, which she rejected, resulting in him tripping and catching his hand in a meat slicer. The middle finger on his right hand was chopped off. Jimmy claimed that Mabel deep-fried it and served it up, but it this is probably not true as he also claimed that she deliberately chopped off his finger with a knife.
Personality[]
Jimmy is very sleazy and seems to hit on most people; he hit on Poppy White only minutes after having met her, and while they were having a professional conversation. Mabel commented that he was "handsy". He seemed to have no problem with lying in order to gain attention and get revenge; this was seen when he told Cinda a false story about how he lost his finger which painted Mabel in a negative light.
