Da'Vine Joy Randolph plays Detective Donna Williams in Only Murders in the Building.
Biography[]
Randolph began her career as Oda Mae Brown in the Broadway production of Ghost:The Musical, which she covered on the West End from December 2011 to January 2012 before opening on Broadway in April 2012. She was nominated for the Tony Award for Best Supporting Actress for this role. She later starred in the ABC sitcom Selfie, which is loosely based on the Pygmalion myth. She was part of the main cast of The Mr Peabody and Sherman Show (2015-2017), People of Earth (2016-2017), High Fidelity (2020) and The Last O.G (2021) among others, as well as having supporting roles in This Is Us (2016), Empire (2017-2018) and Only Murders in the Building (2021-present).
