Sebastian "Bash" Steed is a recurring character in Season 5 of Only Murders in the Building.

History[]
Bash is a tech billionaire and longevity enthusiast. He is part of a secret underground club in The Velvet Room.[2]
When the trio from Only Murders in the Building put out a teaser that implied Jay was involved in a murder, Jay, Camila, and Bash showed up at Oliver's place, saying they wanted to give them the opportunity to leave the billionaires out of their podcast to avoid being sued for libel. Mabel said it wasn't libel to say they were sniffing around a murder scene, but accidentally admitted to spending some time with the body. Oliver offered to give Camila a tour while Bash cooked with Charles and Mabel stayed in the living room with Jay. Bash used a cleaver erratically to cut ingredients for the dinner while talking to Charles about longevity. When Charles asked about Jay's finger, Bash said that Nicky had cut it off with a cleaver during a confrontation. Once back together, they realized that all three billionaires had told the same story and the billionaires excused themselves. However, they had actually coordinated stories and then purchased a controlling interested in Wondify, which gave the trio a contract that prevented them from talking about their stakeholders, tying their hands.[1]
