Arnav Kapoor is a recurring character in Season 1 of Only Murders in the Building. He is Charles' next-door neighbor at the Arconia and has a daughter, Anaya, who is friends with Lucy.
He is portrayed by Maulik Pancholy.
History[]
Talking to Charles[]
Arnav passed Charles in the hallway one evening and asked how he was. Charles said he was fine. Arnav said he could sometimes smell the omelet Charles was making and it reminded him of Lucy. He asked if Charles had heard from her and Charles told him sometimes. Arnav asked Charles to say hi for him.[1]
Helping Charles[]
Charles later came to Arnav, remembering that Arnav was parent-friends with Cinda Canning through Circus Arts class. He told Arnav about the podcast and asked him to get them in touch with Cinda so they could ask her for advice. Arnav also told Charles that his daughter, Anaya, had just been FaceTiming Lucy and Lucy had asked about Charles. Charles asked if Lucy seemed happy and Arnav said she did.[2]
Gas Leak and Trio's Arrest[]
Arnav exited his apartment and asked Oliver and Mabel if they were dizzy. He was about to start a fire when noticed it seemed like fumes were coming up form the basement. He then ran back inside to check on his daughter.
Later, Arnav was among those who watched as Mabel, Charles, and Oliver were arrested after being found with Bunny Fogler's body.[3]
