The Arconia is the central location of Only Murders in the Building. It is set on the Upper West Side of Manhattan in New York City. The filming location used for the Arconia is the Belnord building at 261 West 86th Street.
History
The Arconia was built in 1908 by Archibald Carter, from the architectural firm of Hiss and Weekes. It is 13 stories tall and features Italian Renaissance style decorative elements. The Arconia features two massive two-story grand archways that provide entrance to an inner courtyard with landscaped gardens.
The Arconia is one of a handful of full-block apartment buildings in New York. Like other full-block buildings, the Arconia is built around a large, landscaped interior courtyard. The Arconia's courtyard is among the largest in the city.
The West Tower of the Arconia is completely separated from the East Tower, with visitors from one having to go all the way down to the sidewalk to get to the other. This is because a resident of the West Tower started a brothel and the Arconia chose to seal it off. While the residents of the East Tower are primarily owners, the West Tower residents are primarily renters.[1]

Arcatacombs
The Arcatacombs are secret passageways found between the apartments in the Arconia. The nickname "Arcatacombs" was originated by Oliver, as a combination of "Arconia" and "Catacombs". The Arcatacombs were discovered by the trio in the episode "Here's Looking At You", but Lucy has known about them for years. She found out about them when playing hide-and-seek with Arnav's daughter Anaya. Known entrances to the Arcatacombs include Charles' bathroom and Mabel's closet.
